If the trial is set to be decided by a jury, both parties help select jurors through pre-trial juror interviews.Appeal - If either party does not agree with the result of the trial, the decision can be appealed. The civil lawsuit is then presented to an appellate court that reviews the proceedings of the lawsuit. Each party will submit a brief and record of evidence from trial to the appellate court. The appellate court will look for any errors in legality made during proceedings.
