When two amino acids join together with a peptide bond what other compound is formed?

            When two amino acids are joined together they form a dipeptide along with the elimination of water molecule. This is a condensation reaction, in which the nitrogen atom of amino group of one amino acids attack the carbonyl group of carboxylic group of another amino acid to form a amide linkage.
