Why is attracted to the south pole of a magnet a physical property?

Physical properties are those that can be measured correctly without any change in the chemical composition of a substance. The exhibited physical property can be reversed easily by changing the conditions.

When a substance is attracted to the south pole of a magnet, the chemical composition of the substance remains the same.

The mass of the substance is also unchanged.

The attraction can be stopped simply by removing the magnet or keeping the substance inside a metallic cage.

Hence attraction to the south pole of a magnet is a physical property of the substance.
