Astudent did an experiment with two identical plants, plant 1 and plant 2. about 10 ml fertilizer was added to both plants. about 200 ml of water was added to plant 1 every day. about 250 ml of water was added to plant 2 once a week. the height of the plants was recorded over a period of 5 weeks in the table shown below. based on the table, which of these conclusions is correct? a) fertilizer plants grow taller. b) a plant can survive without water for five days. c) the plant which receives more water grows taller. d) the growth of a plant is affected by the amount of light it receives. (does this question not make sense to anyone else? the plants were given the same amount of fertilizer and weren't deprived of water for five days. also, the plant that received less water grew taller than the other. the only other option for the answer would be d, but light was not mentioned in the question. ? )
