If you wanted to check someone for hypothermia, what equipment would you use?

Hypothermia refers to a hypothetically perilous decline in the temperature of the body, generally resulting due to persistent encountering with cold temperatures. The threat of cold exposure enhances as the months of winter arrives.  

The normal temperature of the body is 98.6 degrees. With hypothermia, the core temperature of the body declines below 95 degrees, while in extreme hypothermia, the core temperature of the body can decline to 82 degrees or lower than that.  

In order to diagnose the condition, a specialized thermometer is available in the majority of the hospital emergency rooms, which can detect very low core temperatures of the body, and helps in confirming the diagnosis.
