What's the difference between an independent, dependent, and controlled variables? ( make it easy to understand, i'm an idiot) this is for science btw : )

an "i"ndependent variable is one that "I" (you) change.

dependent variables are ones that change as a result of what you change. they depend on the other ones

controlled variables are what stay the same throughout. they are controlled and dont change.
