STRONG ELECTROLYTE: a solution or a solute that ionizes/dissociates completely in aqueous solution are called strong electrolytes. They have the ability to conduct electricity. Example:

•Salts such as NaCl, KCl, CuSO4 etc

•Strong acids such as HCl, HNO3, H2SO4 etc

•Strong bases such as NaOH, KOH, Ca(OH)2

WEAK ELECTROLYTES: are electrolytes that partially ionizes in aqueous solution. Examples imclude: acetic acid, ammonium hydroxide, phosphoric acid, propyl amine,formic acid etc.

NON ELECTROLYTES: substances that do not ionizes in aqueous solution and hence are a poor conductors of electricity. Examples include: sugar,water,ethanol,urea etc
