An unlabeled, unopened drug bottle was found in the medicine cabinet of Joe’s bathroom. A sample of the drug was analyzed and found to contain 64.953 % C, 4.489% H, 20.358% O and 10.200% S. The molar mass of the compound was found to be the same as the mass of the empirical formula. It may be a drug prescribed for osteoarthritis. Coincidentally, his arthritis has become so intolerable in recent weeks that he’s had to rely on the aid of a crutch for mobility. Prolonged ingestion of this drug is thought to lead to a heart attack. Titan’s doctor, Franklin Finch, has a quiet reputation of prescribing dangerous drugs to “dispose of” unwanted patients. Could Finch’s jealousy by the cause of Joe’s death?
