This law is a derivative of the kinetic molecular theory of gases.

The law explained shows that as the temperature of gases increases the volume of gases increases. When gases are heated the average kinetic energy of the molecules increases. The molecules are independent of one another and they begin to expand out as their velocity surges. They take up more spaces in this way.
