decreases. In the body, hemoglobin (Hb) in red blood cells binds with oxygen (02) to
form oxyhemoglobin (HbO2).

This equation can be used to model the equilibrium between hemoglobin , oxygen,
and oxyhemoglobin.

Hb + O2 <--> HbO2
