Help needed Assignment is due Justify that H2SO4 is Arrhenius acid and KOH is Arrhenius base.

Arrhenius Acid:

According to Arrhenius concept, Acids are proton donors.

Since H₂SO₄ have a proton (H⁺ ion) and it can donate it to be made a sulphate ion, So it is an Arrhenius acid.

H₂SO₄ + H₂O => HSO₄ + H₃O⁺

Arrhenius Base:

An Arrhenius base is a a proton acceptor.

KOH accepts the proton to to made to KOH₂ and a proton acceptor.

KOH + H₂o => KOH₂ + OH⁻

the ideal gas law equation is as follows

pv = nrt

where p - pressure

v - volume

n - number of moles

r - universal gas constant

t - temperature

so if the pressure, volume and temperature are already known

we are left with n and r

since r is the universal gas constant that has a known fixed value then r too is known

so we are left with 'n'

once we know temperature volume and pressure

we can find the number of moles of gas present using the ideal gas law equation
