Fred and Freida Flubstern just purchased a new home. Fred decided to repair the roof as he liked working in the clean air. He took the box of iron nails and wooden shingles and replaced the rusting nails and rotting shingles. Fred asked Freida to fix him some fresh squeezed lemonade. The lemonade was good; it had just the right amount of sugar and filled with ice, which melted on the warm day. The sugar in the lemonade provided just the energy Fred needed to finish the job. After Fred finished, he and Freida drove to town. They stopped at the gas station to buy gasoline, the hardware store to buy copper pipes and a can of black spray paint and the grocery store to buy milk, cereal, and salt. They enjoyed the drive home, seeing that the leaves on the trees had turned color, signaling the beginning of fall.
