Let suppose, the resistance is 5 ohm on of each one.

Therefore, total current = total voltage / total resistance

= 10 /(5+5) = 10/10 = 1 amp

So now the voltage across the 5 Ohm resistance will be  = current × resistance = 1× 5 = 5 volt
