Tim was born the youngest of four boys. His mother took meticulous care of the four boys by making sure they had everything they needed to be successful at school and at home. She was very concerned in that the boy's father, her husband, was once again incarcerated on charges of possession of stolen goods. This seems to be a recurring theme in her husband's family lineage. Every male throughout this family's history had experienced trouble with "sticky fingers" whereby they all eventually spent time in the local jail for stealing or the possession of stolen goods. All three of Tim's older brothers had the same "sticky finger" syndrome, so it was no surprise when the local police allowed Tim to call his mother upon his arrest for stealing an MP3 player from the local electronics store.
