A graduate student wanted to use yeast to make radioactive C14 labeled ethanol. He mixed yeast extract with C14 labeled glucose and ethanol was produced from the added glucose. However, he was very disappointed that the ethanol was not labeled. He thought about the experiments and realized that he made a mistake. What could be his mistake
