Consider the following reaction: 2HCl(aq) + Ba(OH)2(aq) <—> BaCl2(aq) + 2H2O(l) H=? a) Calculate the heat per mole of BaCl2 produced when 100.0 mL of a .600 M HCl solution is mixed with 250 mL of a .450 M Ba(OH)2 solution and the temperature of the solution goes from 25.2°C to 29.8°C. (Density of the solution = 1 g/mL and the specific heat of the solution is 4.18 J/g-C°.)

b) Assuming the temperature of both solutions was initially 21.5°C and using the heat calculated in part A, calculate the final temperature of the solution.
