An NMR experiment of the reaction mixture was then performed and indicated the presence of both the addition and condensation products, as well as both unreacted starting materials. Select the two peaks that would be the best diagnostics signals representing the starting materials. Hint: You should perform a retrosynthetic analysis to determine what the starting materials are before looking at the NMR spectrum.
