Digestion is a vital process for survival in animals.

Basic Explanation:
-Digestion occurs when food or liquid is consumed, allowing the nutrients, vitamins, and even atoms to be absorbed in the body of an animal, human, or plant (some plants, not all). The nutrients are used for almost everything in a body for the organism to function. The wastes or rest of the digested product then takes exit (when you $#[email protected] out of you're hole) and is left in multiple areas, but usually ends up cycling through all organisms again for another round of digestion.
