What is one way you can make a difference and conserve energy in your home?

Well, That's exactly it, conserving energy. Basically,  you could...
1) turn off the lights when not using them
2) actually washing your clothes in cold water (since it uses a lot of electricity to  heat water )
3) close your window shades in the summer to block extra heat
4) Lower your water heater temp which goes back to 2.
