An absent-minded teacher filled six differently-colored plastic containers with six different ionic solids and forgot to label the containers. He did, however, remember the following facts: 1. The compound with the lowest molar mass is in the yellow container while the red
container holds the compound with the highest molar mass.
2. Copper(II) sulfate cannot be in the green container because that container holds an iron compound.
3.The yellow and white containers both hold oxide compounds.
4. Iron(II) sulfate heptahydrate is the only hydrated compound and is NOT in the black container.
5. Two compounds are bromides, and one of them is in the blue container. Neither is in the red container
6. There are two aluminum compounds and both of them have a molar mass higher than that of copper (II) oxide.
