CAN SOMEONE HELP?
Quartz crystals and salt crystals mixed together were put into a vase and placed on display by mistake. there is a concern about the safety of the salt involved. you are asked to remove the salt and just use the quartz crystals in the vase. All the particles are the size of fish tank gravel and are the same colour appearance and texture.
a) How will you separate this, leaving only the quartz?
b) Continuing from your last question, how can you collect each substance so that you can put each in its own container as a solid? Be detailed regarding your process. Your answer should conclude with a vase containing quartz crystals and a container with salt crystals.
