A vessel, originally containing pure water, is divided in half by a membrane permeable only to water. One mole of CaCl2 is then dissolved in the left side whereas one mole of NaCl is dissolved in the right side. Which way does water then flow in this system, and what side is at the higher pressure after osmotic equilibrium is achieved
