You’re on a spaceship and an accident happened! You’re quickly running out of oxygen! Thankfully, this spaceship can make more oxygen from the available chemicals regardless of how complex the chemical process is. While the machine may accept toxic chemicals, it will not produce additional toxic gasses such as carbon monoxide (CO). However, you only have 132 g of CO2 (carbon dioxide) from breathing, 90 g of H2O (water), 212 g of NaClO3 (sodium chlorate), and 68 g of H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide).

If humans consume approximately 0.5 g of O2 (oxygen) per minute, how much longer can you last with the oxygen you can produce from available chemicals?

Please show all the balanced chemical equations you are using, how much oxygen you produced, and the calculations for the amount of oxygen produced over time.

Thanks.
