How to find the mmol/g of ascorbic acid content in plant tissues by HPLC So I weight out a bunch of plant tissue around 10-20mg. I homogenise them in 1000ml of HCl. I then pippet 50ul of the homogenised material into 450ul of NaPO4. Afterwards 50ul of the (plant-NaPO4) mix is injected into HPLC column. My ascorbic acid standards are (0.00001M-0.01M); 50ul of standards are also mixed with 450 ul of NaPO4; 50ul of the mix subsequently injected into HPLC

I've attached my current calculations but I dont know how to account for the dilutions when the plant are homogenised in HCL.

Thanks in advance
