Hi I’m new to Science Olympiad, and I was just wondering if anyone participated in Science Olympiad before, please tell me all about it! I’ve already read the rule book manual and schedules, but I feel like there’s not enough information—for example, the highlighted blocks as listed below are the ones I’m choosing to participate in this year, but what exactly are we studying in there? In Block A, what do we study for in Rocks and Minerals? Do we identify rocks? Tell me everything about it, especially the block events and try-outs please! And for the try-out test, I would like to know what that’s mainly about as well :) Thanks!
