If I push an object with a force -- what two things control how fast that object moves?

Why is this?

Force is equal to mass times acceleration. The acceleration is, in other words, "how fast that object moves," so we need force and mass to complete the equation. The acceleration, kind of like speed, is proportional to force and inversely proportional to mass. So you might be asking, what exactly does this mean?

It means that:
