Continuing her study of soil, Mara wants to study the composition of some soil samples from two different regions of her state. She places one cup of each sample into a large jar. She slowly adds water until it is near the top. She stirs the water and the soil thoroughly, and then lets the soil sit overnight. She creates this image to record her results.
