What’s the difference of dawling paper and offset paper?

Dowling paper also known as the “dao ling paper," was originally produced by the United States Dowling (Dowling), which is a kind of more advanced paper. The wood is the raw material of Dowling paper. According to the paper whether have luster or not, it is divided into rough dowling paper and smooth dowling paper. The formal name of Dowling paper is glazed paper or glazed printing paper, which is a special paper for glazed printing and also suitable for letterpress printing. Glazed printing paper is suitable for printing and making Monochrome or polychromatic book covers, more advanced text and the insert or pictures (such as various medical journals - China social medical journal), all kinds of colorful illustrated, map paper, Commercial paper or public welfare propaganda, color trademark and all kinds of packaging paper and so on. The glazed printing paper technology is complex, so the requirement of paper quality of printing paper is high. Glazed printing paper is made by  bleached chemical pulp, bamboo pulp, rag and straw pulp and it is also needed to add some padding (Talcum powder, clay,) and mucilage (chemical agent such as surface sizing agent ). It is made on   the long wire paper machine, and calender , finally form paper into storage.
