Water has three phases: liquid, gas, and solids. Can be easily changed to phase in the temperature range that is in the earth's surface. Global water cycle is based on three phases of water.
Water in the solid phase (ice) is lighter than the liquid phase. This is an anomaly; in general, other compounds in the solid phase has a density greater than the liquid phase so that it will sink. The implication: If the ice is heavier than water, so we just have sedikiit sea! The

condenses into rain, which is a source of fresh water on land, then back
again to the sea.
