Why does one mole of carbon atoms have a smaller mass than one mole of sulfur atoms?

Every mole of a substance weighs equal to the atomic mass of that substance. Atomic mass depends on the number of protons and number of neutrons.

Carbon is an element with atomic number of 6 and mass number of 12. Thus it has 6 protons and 6 neutrons.

Sulphur is an element with atomic number of 16 and mass number of 32. Thus it has 16 protons and 16 neutrons.

Carbon has an atomic mass of 12 whereas sulphur has an atomic mass of 32.

that is,   v1/t1 = v2/t2

          v1=?

        t1 = 315 c   into   kelvin = 315 +273 = 588 k

        v2 = 852   ml

        t2 = 425c + 273 =698 k

make v1   the subject of the formula ( by   multiplying both side by t1)

  v1=( v2 xt1) / t2

v1= (852 ml   x 588 k)/ 698 k= 717.73 ml

a). in this case, dh> 0 and sd> 0. if t becomes larger, the term "-tds" will become more negative. at some point, it is possible that -dts will be more negative than the dh is positive, and the reaction will become spontaneous. this is probably the correct answer, but you should look at all of the other possibilities and make sure of that.
