I believe the answer is pesticides. Pesticides are chemicals used to eliminate or control a variety of agricultural pests that can damage crops and livestock and reduce farm productivity. However these pesticides may be harmful to the ecosystem. Sustainable agriculture is the production of food,fiber or other plant or animal products using techniques that are not harmful for the environment, public health, human communities and animal welfare, just like organic agriculture.
