According to the theory plate tectonics, the earth's crust is broken into about 12 plates that float on hotter, softer rocks in the underlying mantle. these plates move about the earth, just inches each year. these slight movements are responsible, in great part, for the earthquakes and volcanoes that happen on earth. what is the source of energy that drives this plate movement?

I think that it's the convection currents in the mantle, but I am not entirely positive.

Mass is the amount of matter in an object.  weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object.  say for example, you travel to the moon which has a different gravitational field compared to the gravitational field of earth. (gravitational fields: earth = 1, moon = 0.165)  now when you are on the moon, the pull of gravity on you is different than on the earth. and as weight is the measurement of the pull of gravity on an object, that means yes, your weight can and will change on the moon.  however, on the moon, on earth or even on jupiter, the amount of mass inside of you remains the same. meaning your physical mass remains constant.  in conclusion it is possible for your weight to change as your mass remains constant. 

So what you would do is go through and add 3 teaspoons(tsp) 6 times because of the 6 tablespoons(tbsp). which will give you an answer of 18. another way is to multiply 3x6=18.
