How can we further explore the potential of the satellite

There are two types of satellites. Natural (Moons) and Artificial (made by human). There are certain things you could add to existing satellites we have in space but that would require a lot of money, for example: If you want to transport  1 kg in space you would have to pay 200000 dollars, now imagine you need a really heavy machine that would attach to a satelite weighting about 10-20 tons... you get the picture. So we are probably not going to upgrade the existing artificial satellites but instead build new ones with better equipment. There will be probably advanced artificial intelligence on every human system in space. Once we have a better equipped satellites we could send some in deep space and discover new things from galaxies to planets and black holes, it could also help us better understand the big bang.
