If a binary signal is sent over a 3-khz channel whose signal-to-noise ratio is 20db, what is the maximum achievable data rate? ( analyze based on nyquist theorem and shannon theorem. maximum data rate is limited by the smaller value of nyquist limit and shannon limit. note that, the s/n in shannon equation is just a ratio, not in the unit of ‘db’.)
