Like you can read an email through Monitor, and through printer you get it printed out. You can get the hard copy from the printer but not from the monitor. The printer requires ink, but Monitor does not. The monitor is always on while we are working, while the printer is not, and it is only when we need them. Monitors are of limited types, however, the printers are of numerous types and models. A monitor is a fundamental unit of PC, and you cannot survive without it. However, the Printer is a secondary unit, and you can exist without it.
