Some games fall under more than one category. For example, many racing games allow players to modify the cars they use. Such games have elements of both strategy and sports games. Some racing games also include realistic simulation elements. Such a game would belong to three genres!
Think of the games you have played so far. Select two games that you think fit into two or more genres. Describe both the game and the gameplay. Make sure you explain what parts of the game make it belong to a specific genre. If possible, provide links to videos that show gameplay. Then comment on two of your classmates’ posts to either agree or disagree with their classifications. Do you think the games they listed only fit the description of one genre?
