For example, if he orders apples in January, then for the full month of January he will get his daily shipment of 10 boxes of apples. A monthly transport cost is necessary on each box, and this cost is the same for all fruits. He enters his orders in a spreadsheet such as the following:

I first added an extra row, above the month columns, to show the number of days in each month.

I then used the formula =($B5*F$1*$C5)+($B5*$A$14) to calculate the cost of the order of strawberries. I copied the formula to each cell corresponding to the order for a particular month. The final table looked like this:
