A standard science experiment is to drop a ball and see how high it bounces. Once the bounciness of the ball has been determined, the ratio gives a bounciness index. For example, if a ball dropped from a height of 10 feet bounces 6 feet high, the index is 0.6 and the total distance traveled by the ball is 16 feet after one bounce. If the ball were to continue bouncing, the distance after two bounces would be 10 ft + 6 ft + 6 ft + 3.6 ft = 25.6 ft. Note that the distance traveled for each successive bounce is the distance to the floor plus 0.6 of that distance as the ball comes back up. Write a program that lets the user enter the initial height from which the ball is dropped, the bounciness index, and the number of times the ball is allowed to continue bouncing. Output should be the total distance traveled by the ball. NOTE: your program needs to ask for the "bounciness" of the ball. Do not assume a value of 0.6

this is for my python class. I'm this far, but got a little stuck.
#Define the variable that is being inputed
ballInitial = float(input("Enter the initial height of the ball: "))
ballBounces = float(input("Enter the number of bounces the ball was allowed to continue bouncing: "))
ballHeight = float(input("Enter the height the ball bounced: "))
#Put the variables into the formulas
ballIndex = ballHeight // ballInitial
for i in range(ballBounces - 1)

7. the cullerton park district holds a mini-olympics each summer. create a class named participant with fields for a name, age, and street address. include a constructor that assigns parameter values to each field and a tostring() method that returns a string containing all the values. also include an equals() method that determines two participants are equal if they have the same values in all three fields. create an application with two arrays of at least eight participants each—one holds participants in the mini-marathon, and the other holds participants in the diving competition. prompt the user for participant values. after the data values are entered, display values for participants who are in both events. save the files as participant.java and twoeventparticipants.java.
