In this activity, you will draw a diagram that represents a wireless network setup that will be implemented for a fictitious house, office or apartment building. Your teacher will either assign you a building or you can create one from your own imagination.
Requirements:
The wireless network should span further than one room.
Include the location of all routers, access points, cables and devices.
Note where the power sources for the devices will be.
Choose and describe the wireless settings of the network.
Explain the reasons behind using the chosen wireless standard (better range, better signal, etc).
To help you get started, draw an empty house like the one seen below and consider adding in the elements (as well as any others that you’d like) shown.
