Consider a horizontal collector tube of a parabolic solar collector with a diameter of 6 cm. water is heated in the tube as it enters it and picks up the absorbed solar energy. this tube is enclosed in a concentric glass tube of 10 cm in diameter. the space between the two tubes is filled with air at 100 kpa. assuming the temperature of the glass is 40 c and the tube is at 70 c, find the rate of heat loss from the absorber tube per unit length of tube.
