If you are working at Stations 1 or 2, your synchronous machine has a rated speed of 1200 rpm; if you are working at Stations 3 or 4 your synchronous machine has a rated speed of 1800 rpm. Use the equation in part a. to determine the number of poles of your machine based on this nameplate information. c. With the number of poles determined in part b., determine the speed required to obtain the following frequencies: 15 Hz, 30 Hz, 45 Hz, 60 Hz, 70 Hz and 80 Hz
