Wells PW-1 and PW2 are pumped continuously over a period of 50 days. Well PW-1 is pumped at a constant rate of 4 gpm. PW-2 is pumped at 2 gpm for 20 days and 4 gpm for 30 days.
Calculate the water level at observation well O, situated at an equal distance of 100 ft from both the pumps, after 50 days of pumping.
T = 1,000 ft^2/day; S = 1 x 10^(-4).
