There exists a sheathed underground power cable which has a conductor which is solid aluminum with a diameter of 0.11 inches. The dielectric around the conductor is teflon and has a thickness of 0.25 inches and the soil is considered to be dry soil with a relative permittivity of about 3.25. This conductor can be considered to be infinitely long If there is a surface charge of p. = 35 C/m² on the outer surface of the aluminum conductor please (a) Find the electric field intensity and electric flux density on both sides of the alu- ininum/teflon boundary (b) Find the electric field intensity and electric flux density on both sides of the teflon/soil boundary
