A composite has a matrix of polyester with Kevlar-29 fibers. The Kevlar fibers have a modulus of elasticity of 67.6 GPa in the longitudinal direction and 4 GPa in the transverse direction. The polyester matrix has a modulus of elasticity of 3.12 GPa in both directions. In order to achieve a 24 GPa modulus of elasticity in the longitudinal, you should find the volume fraction ratio of Kevlar fibers added into the composite. Determine the fraction of the load supported by Kevlar fibers
