Laika is organizing her team and assigning them tasks to begin the project of renovating an abandoned hotel that was once a major center of the political life of her state, with much official and unofficial state business having been decided there. The hotel is fairly decrepit now, but because it served as a hotel during the entirety of its life span before falling into disuse, its main problems are related to age and a lack of maintenance. The owner plans to reopen the hotel as such and tout the historic significance of the site to bring in business. Laika needs to do a fabric analysis on the building, but what tasks does she need to do before that to begin her project? Examine the building’s development throughout the entire period of its use.

Create a statement of significance that outlines a plan and budget for working on the building.

Determine through a careful search through available archives what the building’s significance was.

Analyze the landscape of the building to determine the historical significance of any landscape features.

Amass of m 1.5 kg of steam is contained in a closed rigid container. initially the pressure and temperature of the steam are: p 1.5 mpa and t 240°c (superheated state), respectively. then the temperature drops to t2= 100°c as the result of heat transfer to the surroundings. determine: a) quality of the steam at the end of the process, b) heat transfer with the surroundings. for: p1.5 mpa and t 240°c: enthalpy of superheated vapour is 2900 kj/kg, specific volume of superheated vapour is 0. 1483 m/kg, while for t 100°c: enthalpy of saturated liquid water is 419kj/kg, specific volume of saturated liquid water is 0.001043m/kg, enthalpy of saturated vapour is 2676 kj/kg, specific volume of saturated vapour is 1.672 m/kg and pressure is 0.1 mpa.
