Two feed solutions are mixed to produce a 2500 kg/hr of 25 wt.% ethanol solution. The first feed inlet contains 10% (wt) of ethanol solution and the second inlet stream contains 50
wt.% of ethanol solution.
Assuming steady state process, how much of each solution are mixed to prepare the desired solution?
If the production increased to 10,000kg, what will be the feed rate of the two inlet streams?
