A transmission line connects the output of an amplifier to the base of a 1/4 wave monopole antenna. The amplifier is producing a sine wave at 1 MHz (center of AM radio band). The antenna is radiating an average power of 50 kW. The antenna is 100% efficient at converting electrical power into EM radiation. The transmission line has zero resistance and zero leakage (R and G both zero). The antenna is working at it's resonate frequency. Answer all of the following questions. A.
