Fluid pressure is a measurement of the force per unit area on an object in the fluid or on the surface of a closed or open tank. In industrial or laboratory applications, a standpipe
containing a static liquid is being used in creating a stable pressure on a particular process
or system. Figure 2 shows a compound-differential manometer that use to measure the
difference in pressure between two points or between a certain point and the atmosphere. If
the pressure different between point A and B is measured as 74.5 kPa, determine the
difference in level y.
