   The protagonist is Harry Potter, the leading main character. Harry Potter is brave, oblivious, and kind. He's very courageous, and that lead him to be in Gryffindor. 

   The proof shows here: "Hmm. Difficult. Very difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind either. There's talent, oh my goodness, yes — and a nice thirst to prove yourself, now that's interesting... So where shall I put you?"

   Harry's best friend is Ron Weasley. He acts brave and smart around him to save them from troubles. Ron Weasley is also very oblivious, which causes them all, Harry, Ron, and Hermoine to get into even more trouble. Eventually, Harry uses his values and personality to save the day.
