in the book / movie "animal farm" orwell uses the animals point of view so you could understand what the struggle was like from the main cause of events. the animals represent the poor and the soon to be leading pigs become more human and the "hierarchy".

point of view? in my own definition its not from your view but someone other than you. you're seeing through their eyes and mind.

one of themes is corruption of power. this is shown by how napoleon abuses his power and chases snowball off the farm simply because he disagrees with him. all throughout the book is imagery of the pigs treating themselves better at the expense of other animals, doing whatever they can to get ahead no matter who they hurt and no matter how badly.
